VH-BOB Return To The Skies

On the 26th of January 2023, CAC (Commonwealth Aircraft Corporation) built Mustang VH-BOB finally returned to the skies, after being totally overhauled for almost fifteen years by a dedicated crew of volunteers. The restoration was led by Rob Eastgate (Bob Eastgate son) and included Peter and Paul Carmody, Dave Jones and many others.

Sadly Bob passed away recently and missed the historic flight, a huge congratulations to Rob and the team for presenting what must be the most immaculate P51 in the world.
