0462-209-16141 Size 16 Solid Contact

The 0462-209-16141 solid contact is designed for use with 14 AWG wire within a size 16 cavity. The green stripe on this contact indicates that the wire barrel has been slightly enlarged to accommodate 14 gauge wire. The standard finish is nickel,also available with gold plating an option.

The 0462-209-16141 solid contacts are manufactured using a cold heading process with solid copper alloy wire and are available with either a nickel or gold plating finish.

Solid contacts terminate wire from 3/0 AWG to 20 AWG (95 - 0.5mm2) and are available in 7 sizes each of the pin and socket. The applicable contact is determined by the size of the conductor only.
