MIL-DTL-26482 Series II Connectors
MIL-DTL-26482 Series II, bayonet coupling, rear-removable crimp contact connectors were designed as an upgrade to the MIL-DTL-26482 Series I connector. 26482 Series II connectors are intermountable and interchangeable with both solder and front-release crimp Series I. They are also identical to the inactivated MIL-DTL-83723 Series I connectors.
The 26482 Series II connector is widely used on commercial, military and aerospace systems requiring general-purpose, miniature cylindrical bayonet coupling connectors.
MIL-DTL-26282 series mil spec connectors have a quick-mating three-point bayonet coupling system and utilize a rugged contact retention system. Unlike series I, MIL-DTL-26482 series II connectors are supplied without a rear accessory but with standard military rear threads, allowing for a broad range of back end options. The Aero-Electric MIL-DTL-26482 series is intermateable with and all MIL-26482 series connectors.
Mil Spec prefixes include: MS3470, MS3471, MS3472, MS3474, MS3475 and MS3476
