MIL-DTL-5015 Series III Connectors
By incorporating the best features of the old solder MIL-DTL-5015 and combining them with the rear accessories (similar to MIL-C-26482 Series II and the MIL-C-83723 Series I and II) MIL-DTL-5015 offers a highly reliable rear release connector.
This family of connectors is offered in four receptacle mounting configurations. They include two square flange receptacles, both wall and box mounting; cable connecting receptacles; and jam nut receptacles which incorporate "O" ring seals, designed for rear panel "D" hole mounting. The MIL-DTL-5015 connectors are utilized in a variety of applications including: military / aerospace, commercial aviation, business aviation, aircraft engines, marine applications, and much more.
The MS345* connector is a threaded coupling, removable rear release crimp contact type. Fully intermateable with existing MIL-C-5015 and threaded MIL-C 83723 Series II (USAF) type connectors, they provide for minimum effort and high economy upgrades for existing applications. In addition, the offer simplified design for new and interphase equipment.
